DESCRIPTION: Plantigrade to semiplantigrade tracks with three main digits (II–IV) in the shape of large, pointed hooves and only the manus has hoof V which is highly reduced. The pedal axis is through the longest hoof, hoof III. Hoof II of the pes and hoof II and IV of the manus point inwards toward it. Hoof IV of the pes is almost parallel to hoof III. Pes is ovate-shaped while manus is spade-shaped. Sole and palm are impressed.

ENVIRONMENTAL SETTINGS: Continental; terrestrial

POSSIBLE TRACEMAKERS: Perissodactyla mammals, possibly tapiroid animals, however, known tapir tracks are wider and have less pointed hooves.
